Things Above

In Colossians, chapter 3, we are given the exhortation to set your affection on things above. We are then told how to do that. Put off the old man.  Put on the new man. Lie not one to another. In other words, don’t live in sin.

How do I stop sinning?

Each new year, resolutions are made, but seldom do they result in lasting change or improvement. Who among us has sought the advice of men to help us with our sin problem?

Do we teach our children about faith, or works?

I want to teach my children about faith in God, but often I find myself slipping into a works mentality. The world values achievement and winning over everything else, while God values faith.
