Close to Jesus has a new look and feel. The latest version of the website has been in development for several weeks and now provides the content with a fresh interface, but most importantly it now works on mobile devices. More than half the searches on Google are now done using mobile devices and our old website did not work well on these devices. Other updates include placing the Monday Memory Verse posts in their own section and a new Free Bible form that includes fields for address information.
The Close to Jesus website started with it’s first post on 2/14/2003. Here is a snapshot of what the first version of the website looked like:
There came a time when the platform the original version was built upon became unmanageable. I then moved the website to WordPress and have been there ever since. Here is a snapshot of the second version of the website:
Now we are using a theme that is mobile responsive, meaning that you can use the CloseToJesus.org website on modern browsers on most devices.
